Foodpath Centre is open all year round and can host up to 12 people in its 3 unique studios. In the surrounding gardens there are designated camping areas available. Foodpath also offers accommodation for larger groups off the premises of the Centre. There is a daily breakfast served when guests are on the premises and extra meals can be arranged on demand. In the Centre there is a small coffee shop that is always open. There are no other shops in the village itself or public transportation but the Foodpath team tries its best to accommodate the needs of the visitors.

What to expect

All the studios are equipped with a small kitchen, and offer basic luxury to the visitor, which allows her/him to focus on the natural beauty of the land. Cell phone service is limited and there is no wifi or telephone on the premises, as a way of maintaining the serenity of the people and the environment.  All visitors are invited and welcomed to participate in the daily tasks routine of the Centre, such as gardening, cooking, wood collecting, cleaning etc if they wish, as we like to grow as a community. The outdoors spaces, the yoga deck, the wood oven and the gardens are free for the guests to use, unless there are booked for specific activities. Once per week on the summer months we organise movie screenings in our open-air cinema and we offer drop in daily classes of yoga for an extra cost, as well as cooking classes and guided walks across the island. The last Sunday of every month the Foodpath Centre opens its doors to the public for a night of food and music from around the world. Please check our calendar to learn more about our annual retreats dates and special events.

The Foodpath Centre is located on a mountainous little village, called Neohori, 3 km from the coastal settlement of Nydri on the East coast of Lefkada Island. The village is of exceptional beauty and it’s the perfect spot to take some time off and unwind into nature. The Neohori village is a unique village since there are no shops, roads, or any type of public transport arriving there.

Once an abandoned village, in the seventies it has been discovered by a group of hippies who set up there a small community. The community grew and prospered, until times changed, and nowadays there are only few families of the original settlers still remaining. Todays locals are a colourful mix of old time hippies, new age Greeks, inspired artists, and native Lefkadian alternative families. All together they leave in community and since 5 years their main project is the renovation of the old School of the village, envisioned to be a cultural center that will host different exhibitions and events. The warm heart and interesting history of its people, make a stay in Neohori an unforgettable and truly captivating experience

With breathtaking views of the Ionian Archipelago and the colours of the sunrise Neohori is a place that engraves the heart as no other.

The camping sites are nestled among olive and cypress trees. The Campground has facilities for tent camping, without electricity and all sites have a table and chairs. The communal bathhouse is equipped with a laundry machine, shared refrigerator, showers and sinks.

Pet Policy

On the Centre we have already two dogs living,  a male and a female which are kept free (not in a leash) at all times. While our dogs don’t tend to be aggressive with other animals/ or visitors, that does not stop them from being animals. Under those circumstances, all pet owners are welcomed to bring their pets under their own responsibility, keeping in mind the safety and piece of the rest of the human and animal beings on the premises.
